Manu Cloud Forest 10 days / 9 nights

Trip description

This is a shortest version of the Manu Biosphere Reserve Trip that lacks the Lower Manu region in the Amazon. The trip also starts in Cusco, and along the way to the Lodges we cross a variety of habitats of the Andean region that give us a lot of possibilities regarding birds of the Manu area in the Cloud Forest. After our Journey we drive back to Cusco.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Airport to Hotel in Cusco;
  • Day 2: Cusco to Wayqecha Biological Reserve;   
  • Day 3: Birding the Wayqecha Biological Reserve;
  • Day 4: Wayqecha Biological Reserve to Cock of the Rock Lodge;
  • Day 5: Birding the Cock of the Rock Lodge Area;
  • Day 6: Cock of the Rock Lodge to Amazonia Lodge;
  • Day 7: Birding the Amazonia Lodge area;
  • Day 8: Birding the Amazonia Lodge area;
  • Day 9: Amazonia Lodge to Cusco;
  • Day 10: End of the trip;
